Brunch at the Creme Pot
Today’s food post is by MVNP copywriting intern, Emily Tall. She hails from the great state of Texas and is currently attending Hawaii Pacific University.
There has always been one food spot in Waikiki that has caught my eye—Cream Pot. Never heard of it? Well, truth is not many people have. No, it is not located on Kalakaua Ave. nor does it have an oceanfront view, but it doesn’t need any “extras” to be considered—at least in my book—one of the best breakfast/brunch menus in town.
Located on the corner of Niu St. and Ala Wai Boulevard in the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel, this French country-themed eatery boasts every brunch treat imaginable—from the sweetest of sweet to the most savory of items. Highlights of the menu include the popular soufflé pancakes, salmon eggs Benedict and a three cheese French rolled omelet.
I ended up choosing the strawberries crepes, complete with a dark chocolate filling, fresh Maui strawberries and vanilla cream custard—my sweet tooth couldn’t resist.
To try out these treats for yourself call at (808) 429-0945 or visit Cream Pot at 444 Niu St.
